Privacy Policy — Warranty Tracker

Warranty Tracker ("the app") is developed by Aurevix. This policy explains what information the app handles, how third-party services we use may process data, and your choices.

What the app does

Warranty Tracker helps you scan receipts, track purchases, monitor warranty and return deadlines, schedule maintenance reminders, and keep related documents organized on your device.

Information stored on your device

The app is designed to keep your purchase and document data on your phone or tablet. This may include:

• Receipt and purchase details you enter or scan (product name, store, price, invoice number, warranty dates).
• Return windows, maintenance schedules, and reminder settings you configure.
• Photos or files you attach as receipts, warranty cards, manuals, or other documents.
• App preferences such as theme and notification timing.

We do not operate a user account system or cloud backup service for this app. Your tracked items stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them using your device's own sharing features.

Camera and storage permissions

The app may request access to your camera so you can photograph receipts, and to device storage so you can save and view documents. These permissions are used only to provide scanning and document features within the app.

Third-party services

Google AdMob (advertising)

The app displays ads through Google AdMob (banner and app-open formats). Before ads load, users in applicable regions are shown Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form where required. AdMob and its partners may collect and process data for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention, including:

• Device or other identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID)
• App interactions (such as ad views and taps)
• Approximate location derived from IP address
• Diagnostic and performance data related to ad delivery

You can revisit your ad consent choices at any time from Profile & settings → Ads privacy options when that option is shown for your region.

Google Firebase

The app includes the Firebase core SDK to register with Google's mobile platform. We do not currently use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Authentication, or Cloud Firestore in this app. Firebase may still receive limited technical data needed to initialize the SDK on your device.

Data processed by Google is handled under Google's own policies:

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal purchase data or receipt images.
• We do not require you to create an account to use the app.
• We do not upload your receipts or warranty records to servers we operate.
• We do not collect precise GPS location.

Children's privacy

Warranty Tracker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention and deletion

Data you save in the app remains on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall Warranty Tracker. Ad-related data retained by Google is governed by Google's policies and your device or ad settings.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
